Like peas and carrots, drinking and pool (snooker, billiards, stick, whatever) were a match made in Friday night heaven. So where can these two friends unite in a country that believes that booze and sport actually don’t mix? Where can you find a place to drink AND play pool?

Sadly, there is but one place: The American Embassy! And to get in there you need:

1. An invite
2. To pass an initial document-based security check
3. To go through a 20 minute screening which requires you to surrender all your worldly goods (including phone – yikes!) before they let you in the door.
